<br />Ç.) <br />iL' "\ <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />54 <br /> <br /> <br />¡" <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1988-6 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDIT\PI\1CE OF THE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 4-42(a) OF THE SAN <br />MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PROHIBIT SKATEBOARDS, <br />ROLLERSKATES, ADULT-SIZED TRICYCLES AND BICYCLES ON <br />SIDEWALKS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AND <br />ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That Section 4-42(a) of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances <br />is repealed and the following is adopted in its place: <br /> <br />Sec. 4-42. <br /> <br />Riding on Sidewalks. <br /> <br />(a) No person shall ride a bicycle, adult-sized tricycle, <br />roller skates, skateboard or any similar device or <br />vehicle on any sidewalk within the central business <br />district of the City. <br /> <br />PART 2.
