<br />1.5 <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />For the purposes of this Contract, <br /> <br />addi tional services will be <br /> <br />considered to be all services not included in the basic contracted <br /> <br />services as identified in Article 1, excluding sections 1.5 and <br /> <br />1. 6. <br /> <br />Additional <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />shall be provided <br /> <br />if <br /> <br />authorized or <br /> <br />confirmed in writing by the OWNER as provided in <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Agreement, <br /> <br />and compensation shall be in addition to that specified for basic <br /> <br />services. <br /> <br />Compensation <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />additional <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 12.1.1 of this Agreement. Additional <br />services shall include but not be limited to the following <br />potential work items. <br /> <br />1.5.1 <br /> <br />Making revisions in plans, specifications or other documents <br /> <br />when <br /> <br />such <br /> <br />revisions <br /> <br />are <br /> <br />inconsistent <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />written <br /> <br />approvals <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />instructions previously given or are due to other causes not solely <br />within the control of the ARCHITECT. <br /> <br />1.5.2 <br /> <br />Preparation and issuance of Addenda made necessary by OWNER's <br /> <br />requested changes or modifications which are inconsistent with written <br />approvals or instructions previously ~iven or are due to other causes <br /> <br />not solely within ARCHITECT's control. <br /> <br />1.5.3 <br /> <br />Providing any other services not otherwise included in this <br /> <br />Agreement or not customarily furnished in accordance with the standard <br /> <br />of care exhibited by large, national architectural firms. <br /> <br />1.6 <br /> <br />TIME <br /> <br />1.6.1 <br /> <br />The ARCHITECT shall submit to the OWNER within 60 days of the <br /> <br />execution of this contract, the final plans and specifications. <br /> <br />As <br /> <br />used <br /> <br />herein, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />term <br /> <br />"final" <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />interpreted <br /> <br />to mean <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />reviewed <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />finally approved by the OWNER. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
