<br />and said boxes will remain in her custody except that City agrees to deliver <br /> <br />the boxes of voted ballots to School if requested for canvass of the election <br /> <br />or in the event the voted ballots are required for any court proceedings in <br /> <br />which the School may be a party. <br /> <br />City agrees to maintain custody of the ballot <br /> <br />boxes containing the voted ballots after delivery by the School until the <br /> <br />expiration of sixty (60) days following the date of the election, at which time <br /> <br />City will dispose of the voted ballots in the manner prescribed by the Texas <br /> <br />Election Code and will return those ballot boxes owned by School to the School <br /> <br />District Office. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />Joint returns of the election will be provided by the Election Judges <br /> <br />to the Mayor and School Board President and to the City Secretary and School <br /> <br />District Business Manager. <br /> <br />All returns by Election Officials will be made to <br /> <br />the City and School at City Hall, 630 East Hopkins Street, within said City <br /> <br />following the closing of the various polling places. <br /> <br />The Mayor of the City <br /> <br />and the City Secretary will maintain custody of the returns until the <br /> <br />completion of the election canvass by the City Council, after which City will <br /> <br />deliver the original returns to the School District Office for use by the <br /> <br />School Board of Trustees election canvass. <br /> <br />School agrees to maintain custody <br /> <br />of the election returns upon delivery by the City for a minimum period of <br /> <br />60 days following the date of the election. <br /> <br />School also agrees to furnish City with the original records upon request <br /> <br />by the City in the event they are required for any court proceedings in which <br /> <br />the City may be a party. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />To facilitate the administration of the election, and as a convenience <br /> <br />to the voters, during the absentee voting period of Monday, April 18, 1988, <br /> <br />through Tuesday, May 3, 1988, <br /> <br />City agrees to designate the School District <br /> <br />Office, 501 South L. B. J. Drive, as a Temporary Branch Absentee Polling Place <br /> <br />for the City, and School agrees to designate City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins, as a <br /> <br />Temporary Branch Absentee Polling Place for the School. <br /> <br />City and School further agree to maintain a Temporary Branch Absentee Polling <br /> <br />Place for each other in accordance with Section 85.062, Election Code, V.T.C.A. <br /> <br />V. <br /> <br />On Election Day, all forms used in the conduct of the election, including <br /> <br />but not limited to the poll list, signature roster, ballot registers, report <br /> <br />of voting results, tally lists, expense accounts, and all oaths and certificates <br />
