Ms. Kissler moved for approval of allocation of <br />$10,000.00 from contingency funds and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration giving direction to Staff <br />on a request made by Jerry Hinnenkmap for the City's sale of property <br />on Loop 82 at Thorp Lane. George Boeker advised the Council there <br />was a possibility the City would need this property for a connection <br />with Lime Kiln Road, as called for in the Master Plan. The Mayor <br />stated if there was a possibility the City would need the property, <br />then we should not consider the sale of this property at this time. <br />Mr. Hinnenkamp withdrew his request for now. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for Staff to com- <br />mence strip annexation proceedings along IH35, State Highway 123 and <br />State Highway 21. Mayor Craddock moved for Staff to proceed and Mr. <br />Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of bid on the asphalt <br />oil distributor and chip spreader. Mayor Craddock moved to award bid <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Asphalt Oil Distributor to Bartholow Machinery in <br />the amount of $23,947, plus truck frame modification <br />in the amount of $1,700 and tires and rims in the <br />amount of $1,574, totaling $27,221. <br /> <br />Chip Spreader to Bartholow Machinery in the amount <br />of $49,495. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of date for the <br />second Regular Meeting in May, as Monday, May 28 is a holiday.
