67 RESOLUTION 1988-49R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION THE COMPLETED REGIONAL SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR WHICH RUNS FROM THE "OLD JAIL HOUSE LIFT STATION" TO THE "OLD TREATMENT PLANT" AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on May 19, 1986, the City of San Marcos, Texas entered into a Community Facilities Agreement as authorized by resolution adopted by the City Council of said City on May 12, 1986, which Agreement provides for the construction and integration of a regional sani tary sewer interceptor to run from what is generally known locally as the "Old Jail House Lift Station" to the "Old Treatment Plant", the location of said interceptor being more particularly described in Exhibit A attached to said Agreement; and, WHEREAS, said Agreement further provides for the acceptance of said interceptor for City ownership, maintenance and operation if the same is completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications; and, WHEREAS, said sanitary sewer interceptor has been constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the regional sanitary sewer interceptor constructed from what is generally known as the "Old Jail House Lift Station" to the "Old Treatment Plant", the location of said interceptor being more particularly described in Exhibit A attached to that certain Community Facilities Agreement entered into by the City and others on May 19, 1986, is hereby accepted for City ownership, maintenance, and operation.
