RESOLUTION 2013 -135R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND EASTER SEALS - CENTRAL TEXAS FOR VEGETATION <br />CONTROL, DEBRIS REMOVAL AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE IN <br />A NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $653,081.84; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The procurement of services described in the attached agreement with Easter <br />Seals - Central Texas is approved as an exception to competitive bidding requirements, pursuant <br />to the provisions of Chapter 122, Human Resources Code. <br />PART 2. The attached agreement between the City and Easter Seals Central Texas as <br />certified by TIBH Industries, Inc. for vegetation control, debris removal and landscape <br />maintenance in a not to exceed amount of $653,081.84 is approved. <br />City. <br />PART 3. The City Manager is authorized to execute this Agreement on behalf of the <br />PART 4.
