<br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007- 143 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, REJECTING THE BIDS SUBMITTED FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />POLICE EQUIPMENT FOR EIGHT RECENTLY PURCHASED POLICE <br />VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On July 12, 2007, bids were received from Emergency Vehicle Supply, Malcom <br />Wireless Communications, Inc., Siddons Fire Apparatus and Adamson Industries Corp. for the <br />City's purchase of police equipment for eight recently purchased police vehicles (IFB-27 -069). <br /> <br />2. City staff has determined that the bid received did not meet specifications and <br />does not wish to award the contract at this time. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PART 1. The bid received in response to an invitation for bids (JFB 27-069) for the <br />purchase of police equipment is rejected. <br /> <br />PART 2.
