<br />97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-57R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 20.42 ACRES <br />LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF FM 621, OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BEING THE LOCATION OF DEZAVALA <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND HIGH <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 15, 1988, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a <br />request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan <br />from Low Density Residential and High Density Residential to Public <br />for 20.42 acres located on the Southwest Side of FM 621, in said City; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent <br />Commissions did, <br />request and voted <br />recommended that such <br />of said City; and, <br /> <br />to said public hearing on said date, said <br />on March 15, 1988, consider said <br />to approve the same and have <br />request be approved by the City Council <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />May, 1988, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />~1as ter <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That 20.42 acres more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />purposes, located on the southwest side of FM 621, being the <br />location of the DeZavala Elementary School, San Marcos, Hays County, <br />Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of <br />the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Low Density Residential <br />and High Density Residential shall be shown on said map as Public <br />as more particularly described in Exhibit IIB" which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein for all purposes. <br /> <br />PART 2.
