<br />168 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-73R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, FINDING THAT THE PAYMENT OF TAXES <br />ON REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LOT 47A OF THE <br />A.F. WEATHERFORD ADDITION IN SAID CITY BY COMMERCIAL TITLE <br />OF AUSTIN IS EXCESSIVE AND ERRONEOUS BY THE AMOUNT OF <br />$729.01, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A REFUND IN SUCH <br />AMOUNT BY THE TAX ASSESSOR, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />COUNCI L OF <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />PART 1. That it is hereby found and determined that the payment <br />of taxes on real property generally described as Lot 47A of the <br />A.F. Weatherford Addition in said City by Commercial Title of Austin to <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas is excessive and erroneous in the amount <br />of $729.01. <br /> <br />PART 2. That a refund in the amount of $729.01 by the Tax <br />Assessor to the property owner(s) is hereby authorized and approved. <br /> <br />PART 3.
