15 RESOLUTION 1988-87R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THAT PROJECT KNOWN AS THE WOODS WATER PLANT, APPROVING THE PAYMENT OF AN ADDITIONAL SUM OF $8,390.00 TO PRO-TECH ENGINEERING GROUP, INC. AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, by execution of an agreement on December 9, 1986, the City of San Marcos did enter a contract with Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc. for engineering services in connection with the Woods Water Plant project in an original amount of $16,050.00; and, WHEREAS, an expansion of said project was approved by the City Council of said City on April 13, 1987, which required additional engineering services; and, WHEREAS, additional engineering services in the amount of $8,390.0Ø were rendered said City by Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc. in connection with said project; and, WHEREAS, said contract for engineering services requires that the City Council authorize or confirm any additional services in writing; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the additional undefined engineering services approved by George Boeker on January 14, 1987, as evidenced by the attached letter from Kelly Kilber dated January 9, 1987, in the amount of $8,390.00 are hereby authorized. PART 2. That the the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas hereby approves an additional expenditure of $8,390.00 for engineering services rendered by Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc., in connection with the Woods Water Plant Project upon delivery of an itemized statement of services rendered. PART 3.
