Resolution 2013 -154R approving an Economic Development Incentive Agreement <br />with Mensor Corporation pursuant to Section 1.4.4.1 of the Land Development Code <br />(LDQ that grants a waiver of the requirement under Section 7.4.2.3 of the LDC to <br />install sidewalks on both sides of a lot with double street frontage as part of the <br />expansion of the manufacturing facility at 201 Barnes Drive; authorizing the City <br />Manager to execute said agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective <br />date. <br />27. Appeal filed by HDH, LLC regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission's denial <br />of their Conditional Use Permit application to allow on- premise consumption of <br />alcoholic beverages at 205 West Hopkins Street, San Marcos, TX 78666 <br />29. Appointments to the Comprehensive Plan Oversight Committee. <br />30. Staff update regarding the Fall 2013 Preferred Scenario Amendment applications <br />received and procedures for consideration. <br />31. Update from the Conditional Use Permit Subcommittee and hold discussion <br />regarding the process. <br />32. Discussion regarding Grande Communications recent digitizing of the City's cable <br />channel. <br />The Council held discussion and asked questions regarding items on the agenda for October 2, <br />2013 Regular City Council Meeting, to wit Items (5 and 9 -32). No additional action was taken. <br />6. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public <br />Julie Watkins, ETJ Resident, expressed her appreciation to council regarding the City's <br />opposition to a proposed truck stop in Kyle, Texas. She requested that item 25 be moved up <br />since Kyle City Council is voting on the proposed truck stop during their meeting on <br />Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Additionally she asked that council place a statement within the <br />Resolution indicating this truck stop would be considered a "Public Health Issue." Council gave <br />no direction, at this time, to include this statement. <br />7. Adiournment <br />
