<br />30 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO.1 <br /> <br />CONTRACT FOR AUDIT SERVICES <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by execution of an agreement on September 9, 1986, the <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, did enter into a contract with KMG Main <br /> <br />Hurdman for audit services; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />KPMG <br /> <br />Peat <br /> <br />Marwick <br /> <br />Main <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Company <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Successor-in-Interest <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />KMG <br /> <br />Main <br /> <br />Hurdman; <br /> <br />now <br /> <br />therefore, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />Part 1. That said contract is in all respects amended and <br />extended to provide th,~: ;~uditor conduct a regular annual <br />audit of the City's financial statements as prepared by the <br />Ci ty' s Director of Finance and of the Financial records and <br />accounts of the City of San Marcos, Texas for three <br />consecutive fiscal years beginning with the fiscal year <br />ending September 3Ø, 1986 and through and including the <br />fiscal year ending September 30, 1988. <br /> <br />Part 2.
