<br />A RE~OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF 199.23 ACRES
<br />LOCATED ALONG COUNTY ROAD 140 AT YARRINGTON ROAD IN THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY', TEXAS, FROM MEDIUM
<br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, OFFICE AND
<br />PROFESSIONAL, AND INDUSTRIAL, TO COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL;
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on Ju 1y 19, 1988, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding
<br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master
<br />Plan from Medium Density Residential, High Density Residential, Office
<br />and Professional, and Industrial to Commercial and Industrial,
<br />of 199.23 acres, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on July 19,1988, consider said request and
<br />vote to approve the same and have recommended that such request be
<br />approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the
<br />of September, 1988, regarding such request; and,
<br />

<br />amendments have been met; and,

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

<br />SAN
<br />
<br />MARCOS,
<br />
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />PART 1. That 199.23 acre tract of land located along County
<br />Road 140 at Yarrington Road, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is
<br />in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan
<br />of the City of San Marcos as Medium Density Residential, High Density
<br />Residential, Office and Professional, and Industrial, shall be shown on
<br />said map as Commercial and Industrial as more particularly described in
<br />Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
<br />purposes.
<br />
<br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br />from and after its passage.
