<br />hereof <br /> <br />have been corrected and that the reasons <br /> <br />for any <br /> <br />specific <br /> <br />qualifications in any and all previous Certificates For Payment as <br />described in Section 1.5.8 hereof are either no longer valid or the <br /> <br />condition(s) and/or problem(s) have been corrected; shall receive and <br /> <br />review <br /> <br />written <br /> <br />warranties <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />related <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />construction contract documents and assembled by the Contractor; shall <br />issue a final Certificate for Payment or take other appropriate action; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />shall make <br /> <br />a written recommendation <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />regarding CITY's <br /> <br />acceptance of the Project. <br /> <br />1. 5 . 13 <br /> <br />The extent of the duties, responsibilities and limitations of <br /> <br />authority <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />ARCHITECT <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />CITY's <br /> <br />representative <br /> <br />during <br /> <br />construction shall not be modified or extended after the construction <br /> <br />contract documents have been authorized by CITY to be competitively bid <br /> <br />without written consent of the CITY and the ARCHITECT and with notice <br /> <br />to the Contractor. <br /> <br />1. 5 . 14 <br /> <br />The ARCHITECT shall prepare and submit to the CITY a set of <br /> <br />reproducible record drawings showing significant changes in the Work <br /> <br />made during the construction phase. The Architect shall prepare and <br /> <br />submi t the following record of drawings: <br /> <br />two sets of reproducible <br /> <br />(sepia acceptable) record drawings to the DOL, one set of reproducible <br />record drawings to the CITY, and one print record drawing to the FAA, <br /> <br />showing all changes in the work made during construction, including an <br /> <br />as-built Airport Layout Plan (ALP). <br /> <br />One thousand dollars ($1,000) will <br /> <br />be withheld pending the FAA 's <br /> <br />receipt <br /> <br />and approval <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />all record <br /> <br />drawings. <br /> <br />Upon approval by the FAA, withheld monies will be released <br /> <br />to the Architect. <br /> <br />1. 5 . 15 <br /> <br />In the event of any arbitration proceeding as provided in the <br /> <br />construction contract documents, <br /> <br />the ARCHITECT may be made a party <br /> <br />thereto at the request of either CITY or Contractor. <br /> <br />1.6 <br /> <br />ADDI"I'IOlIAL SERVICES <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purposes <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Contract, <br /> <br />additional <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />will <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />considered to be all services not included in the basic contracted <br /> <br />services as identified in Article 1, excluding Sections 1.6 and 1.7 and <br /> <br />those, if any, identified in Article 14 of this Contract. <br /> <br />Additional <br /> <br />services shall be provided if authorized or confirmed in writing by the <br />CITY as provided in this Agreement, and compensation shall be in <br /> <br />-8- <br />
