G'! o' ?-i ~ :3 \,;1 79 ORDINANCE 1988-67 ,..- .::.~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING EXHIBITS A AND B TO SECTIONS 30-27 AND 30-35, RESPECTIVELY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO INCREASE THE CHARGES TO BE PAID BY ALL PERSONS OWNING OR OCCUPYING PREMISES WHICH ARE CONNECTED WITH THE WATER SYSTEM OF SAID CITY AND TO INCREASE THE RATES FOR SERVICES TO USERS OF THE SANITARY SEWAGE SYSTEM OF SAID CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. .;.:; [: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Exhibit A to Section 30-27 of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended as shown thereon, and the same is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. SECTION 2. That Exhibit B to Section 30-35 of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended as shown thereon, and the same is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City as provided by the City Charter of the City of San Marcos.
