G'! <br />o' <br />?-i ~ <br />:3 \,;1 <br /> <br /> <br />79 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1988-67 <br /> <br />,..- .::.~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING EXHIBITS A AND B TO SECTIONS <br />30-27 AND 30-35, RESPECTIVELY, OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO INCREASE THE CHARGES TO BE <br />PAID BY ALL PERSONS OWNING OR OCCUPYING PREMISES WHICH <br />ARE CONNECTED WITH THE WATER SYSTEM OF SAID CITY AND TO <br />INCREASE THE RATES FOR SERVICES TO USERS OF THE <br />SANITARY SEWAGE SYSTEM OF SAID CITY, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />.;.:; [: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That Exhibit A to Section 30-27 of the Code of <br />Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended as shown <br />thereon, and the same is attached hereto and made a part hereof for <br />all purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That Exhibit B to Section 30-35 of the Code of <br />Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended as shown <br />thereon, and the same is attached hereto and made a part hereof for <br />all purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an <br />emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of <br />the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be presented at three <br />separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until <br />the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage <br />be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and <br />after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper of general <br />circulation within the City as provided by the City Charter of the City <br />of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this <br /> <br />26 day 0 September, 198~ <br /> <br />Lat y '. ~~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />At~st: ). . <br />c>ŽL¡ ¡þ}d2'~J) cJ( ØI ~rr~ruÞ;) <br /> <br />JalrÙs K.
