<br />CITY OF SAN M.-\RCOS, TEX.-\S <br />WATER RATE -- SCHEDULE RW-l <br />( Rural C us tome rs ) <br /> <br />A pplica ble: <br /> <br />To any customer served through a single meter for water usage outside <br />the corporate limits of the City. Service will be furnished under this <br />rate schedule subject to the established rules and regulations of the <br />City covering this type of service. <br /> <br />Rate: <br /> <br />$10.20 for the first 2,000 gallons or less. <br /> <br /> <br />$ 2.44 per thousand gallons for all additional gallons. <br /> <br />Minimum Bill: <br /> <br />$10.20 per month. <br /> <br />Multiple Dwelling Units & Trailer Parks: <br /> <br />For multiple dwelling units served under one water :r.eter, the monthly <br />bill shall be computed on the basis of the average '.ater usage per <br />dwelling. The average water usage per dwelling p'.:!" month shall be <br />determined by dividing the total water usage meaSl~ red by the City's <br />meter by the total number of dwellings in service. The total number <br />of dwelling units in service shall be the maximum number of units <br />connected to the City's system multiplied by 0.90. <br /> <br />The average water usage per dwelling shall be used to calculate the <br />individual rate charged per unit by applying the rural water rate. <br /> <br />Delayed Payment: <br /> <br />All bills for water service shall be paid on or before the fi fteenth (15th) <br />day of the month in wnïch the bill is rendered. A delinquent service <br />charge equal to 10% of the bill amount shall be added upon failure or <br />refusal of the customer to pay any bill on or before the fifteenth (15th) <br />day of the month in which the bill is rendered. <br /> <br />Reconnection Policy: <br /> <br />The failure to pay all bills for water service furnis hed to any conSl..mer <br />within the time stipulated for such payment shall be deemed notice for <br />the discontinuance of water service. and water shall be cut off and <br />shall not be cut on again until all bills, including delinquent service <br />charges. are paid in full, together with a reconnection fee of $10. 00 <br />per meter for regular hours (8 a. m. - 5 p. m.) reconnection or $15. 00 <br />per meter for after-hours (5 p. m. - 8 a. m.) reconnection, plus any <br />applicable deposit fee. The water service shall be disconnected as to <br />all uses thereof for those consumers who fail to pay for the same as <br />herein provided within thirty (30) days after the date of billing. No <br />service shall be discontinued prior to notice to said consumer stating <br />the consumer's right to dispute any portion of the bill. <br /> <br />Single Point Delivery: <br /> <br />The above rate are based upon the supply of water to the entire <br />premises through a single delivery and metering point. A separate <br />supply of water for the same consumer at other points of consumption <br />shall be separately metered and billed. <br />
