<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> <br />ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> <br />ISSUED BY: <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />SHEET NO. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: <br /> <br />10/1/88 <br /> <br />REVISION NO. <br /> <br />MEDIUM GENERAL SERVICE - TIME-OF-DAY RATE <br />RATE SCHEDULE - MGS-TD <br /> <br />The City shall charge and collect for medium general service, <br />time-of-day rate, on the basis of the provisions of this Rate <br />Schedule - MGS-TD. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and Rules and <br />Regulations for Electric Service are incorporated by reference as <br />a part of this rate schedule. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout <br />territory served by the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />entire <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to all time-of-day service <br />required for lighting, power and any other purpose, other than <br />residential service as defined in Rate Schedule - RS, where the <br />maximum metered demand is 50 kW or greater but less than 500 kWand <br />for which no specific rate schedule is available. If the maximum <br />metered demand is 500 kW or greater for any two months during any <br />twelve month period, the City will transfer the customer to the <br />then applicable general service rate schedule. <br /> <br />This rate schedule is only applicable to qualified customers who <br />require a substantial portion of'their electrical demand during the <br />Off-Peak period, as defined herein. Prior to a customer receiving <br />service, the City will investigate the load characteristics of such <br />customer in order to determine if this rate scheddule may be <br />advantageous for the customer. If the City determines that the <br />customer is qualified to receive service under this rate schedule, <br />special metering equipment will be installed to measure the <br />customer's demand and energy requirements during the On-Peak and <br />Off-Peak periods. <br /> <br />Customers requesting service under this rate schedule will be <br />required to execute a contract for service with a minimum term of <br />twelve (12) months. <br /> <br />9/6/88 <br /> <br />- 9 - <br />
