<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> <br />ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> <br />ISSUED BY: <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />SHEET NO. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: <br /> <br />10/1/88 <br /> <br />REVISION NO. <br /> <br />MEDIUM GENERAL SERVICE - TIME-OF-DAY RATE <br />RATE SCHEDULE - MGS-TD <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the "Customer <br />Charge", the "Demand Charge" and all applicable rate adj1:9tments. <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />The due date of the bill shall be fifteen (15) days after <br />issuance, and payment must be received in the electric utility <br />office of the City by 5: 00 P.M. on the due date. Any and all <br />amounts remaining unpaid after the due date shall be assessed a <br />charge in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. <br /> <br />DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMANDS <br /> <br />The "On-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the highest kW <br />demand established during any 30 minute period during the On-Peak <br />Period for the month. <br /> <br />The "Off-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the highest kW <br />demand established during any 30 minute period during the Off-Peak <br />Period for the month in excess of the On-Peak Billing Demand. <br /> <br />POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The monthly metered demands may be adjusted to an equivalent <br />90% power factor for billing purposes when the power factor at any <br />point of delivery is determined to be less than 90%. Such <br />adjustment will be deferred for six months at a new point of <br />delivery to allow for corrective action by the customer. <br /> <br />9/6/B8 <br /> <br />- 11 - <br />
