<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> <br />ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> <br />ISSUED BY: <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />SHEET NO. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: <br /> <br />10/1/88 <br /> <br />REVISION NO. <br /> <br />POWER COST ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE <br />RATE SCHEDULE - PCA <br /> <br />The City shall charge and collect for changes in purchased <br />power costs on the basis of the provision of this Rate Schedule - <br />PCA applicable to all kWh sales. <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to all sales of electric <br />energy by the City and is a part of each of the ci ty I s other <br />electric rate schedules. <br /> <br />MONTHLY FACTOR <br /> <br />The monthly bill for electric service computed in accordance <br />with the appropriate electric rate schedule shall be increased or <br />decreased by an amount equal to the product of all kWh used by the <br />Customer during the billing month and the Monthly Power Cost <br />Adjustment Factor "F" calculated as follows: <br /> <br />F=(Fm/Sm - $0.015396) x Lm <br /> <br />Where: <br /> <br />F= <br /> <br />Monthly Power Cost Adjustment Factor in dollars <br />per kWh rounded to the nearest $0.00001; <br /> <br />Fm= Total applicable Monthly Power Costs in dollars; and <br />Sm= Total applicable Monthly Energy Sales in kWh. <br /> <br />Lm= Loss Multiplier <br /> <br />= 1.0229 Primary voltage (Greater than 600 v but less than <br />69 kV) <br /> <br />= 1.0882 Secondary voltage (600 v and below) <br /> <br />9/6/88 <br /> <br />- 26 - <br />
