ordinances be considered on two separate readings on two separate <br />days no less than seven days apart. <br />PROPOSITION NO. 15 <br />FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.12 of the City Charter (Publication of <br />ordinances) to require the city clerk to give notice of the enactment <br />of all ordinances on the city's website. <br />PROPOSITION NO. 16 <br />FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.14 of the City Charter (Official bonds <br />for city employees) to allow insurance as an alternative to fidelity <br />bonds for city employees that handle money for the city. <br />PROPOSITION NO. 17 <br />FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.17 of the City Charter (Expulsion or <br />removal of city officials) to eliminate the authority of the city <br />council to remove city employees that were originally appointed <br />by the city manager with the city council's approval. <br />PROPOSITION NO. 18 <br />FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 4.03 of the City Charter (Municipal <br />Court) to require that the presiding judge and associate judges be <br />authorized to practice law in the State of Texas. <br />PROPOSITION NO. 19 <br />FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 4.04 of the City Charter (City attorney) <br />to provide that the city attorney must be authorized to practice law <br />in the State of Texas but is not required to be engaged in the <br />practice of law at the time of appointment. <br />PROPOSITION NO. 20 <br />FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 5.03 of the City Charter (Filing office) <br />to include a cross reference to the qualifications for office for <br />council members specified in Section 3.02 of the charter. <br />E <br />
