The system consists of approximately 85 miles of coUection <br />lines with 42 lift stations. After treatment, wastewater is returned to the San Marcos River. <br /> <br />Recent improvements increased the system capacity to serve a projected population of 46,000 in the year <br />2000. <br /> <br />Storm water is collected in an entirely separate gravity feed storm sewer system and is completely <br />segregated from the sanitary sewer system. Bills are mailed on the last work day <br />of the months. Payment is due by the fifteenth of the month.
