<br />1. <br /> <br />PART IV <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />Any application for funding under the Texas Community Development Program <br />must be submitted with a resolution from the local governing body (City <br />Councilor County Commissioners Court) authorizing the submission of that <br />application. A sa~le resolution i!Lj!1clude~_~s__!\ttaç~mel'!~_l. <br /> <br />This resolution must, at a minimum: <br /> <br />3) <br />4) <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />6} <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Authorize the submission of an application for funding under the <br />Texas Community Development Program. <br /> <br />Designate under which competition the application is to be <br />considered (Community Development Fund, Special Impact Fund, or <br />Emergency/Urgent Need Fund). <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Designate the activities addressed in the application. <br />Designate dollar amount being requested. <br /> <br />Designate a person (e.g., Mayor, County Judge, City Manager) who <br />will be authorized to execute documents in conjunction with the <br />application. <br /> <br />Convnit to the provision of resources by source and use (i f <br />applicable) in support of the proposed project activities, <br />including the specific source and use of those resources. This <br />commitment must follow guidelines as set forth in Attachment 6, <br />page 40. <br /> <br />In a joint application, a cooperation agreement must also be included and <br />signed by all participating local governments, and must state which <br />participant will serve as the lead administrative entity if the project is <br />funded. Additionally, each locality participating in a joint application must <br />submit a resolution as outlined above. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />PUBLISHED NOTICES OF PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A copy of the applicant's Citizen Participation Plan (Pages P-24 through <br />P-26) must be included. A copy of each of the actual published notices (full <br />page of the newspaper with publication title and date) or publisher's <br />affidavit for the required public hearings must also be provided. The notices <br />must conform with the requirements of the Citizen Participation Plan including <br />date, time, and place of the hearing, and the topics to be discussed. <br /> <br />38 <br />
