<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />co <br />ço <br />\() <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />u <br />CJ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1988-76 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING EXHIBIT A <br />ATTACHED TO THAT ORDINANCE ADOPTED SEPTEMBER <br />26, 1988, WHICH AMENDED CHAPTER 9 1/2 OF THE <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES TO INCREASE SAN MARCOS <br />ELECTRIC UTILITY TARIFFS, TO REFLECT RECENT <br />RULINGS OF THE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION <br />CONCERNING THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE 138KV <br />VOLTAGE CATEGORY AS "TRANSMISSION" AND THE <br />DELETION OF SEASONAL CAPACITY CHARGES AND TO <br />AMEND CERTAIN CLERICAL ERRORS, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That Exhibi t A attached to that Ord inance adopted <br />September 26, 1988 which amended Chapter 9 1/2 of the Code of <br />Ordinances to increase San Marcos Electric Utility tariffs, is <br />hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit 1 which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein for all purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That Exhibit A attached to said Ordinance is further <br />amended as set forth in Exhibi t 2 which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein for all purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an <br />emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the <br />provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be <br />presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall <br />become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following <br />the date of its final passage be suspended, and these prov isions <br />are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its <br />publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City <br />as provided by the City Charter of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this ~ day of <br /> <br />Q~tqh~r <br /> <br />, 1988. <br /> <br />~lMr~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />?$t .est: . <br />.J I I <br />¡-. .. ...
