Section 64.409 of Subtitle G of Title (b) The provisions relating to the occupational disability program as set forth in section (a) above are in lieu of the disability program heretofore provided for under Sections 64.301 to 64.308 of said Title. SECTION 4. That all citations in Division 2 of Article III of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of said City, to any section and/or subsection of Article 6243h of Vernon's Civil Statutes of Texas, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, 1925, Chapter 75, Acts of the 50th Legislature of the State of Texas, Chapter 75, Acts Regular Session, 50th Legislature, Chapter 312, Acts Regular Session, 56th Legislature, shall be amended to read: Subtitle G of Title 110B, V.A.C.S. SECTION 5. That the delegation of authority to the City Secretary in Section 2-39 of said Division of said Article of said Chapter of said Code to remit City contributions to the Texas Municipal Retirement System, to ascertain and certify the prior service of City employees and other related information and the delegation of authority to said City Secretary in Section 2-42 of said Division of said Article of said Chapter of said Code to remit City contributions of supplemental benefits funds to the Texas Municipal Retirement System and to prepare certain reports, is hereby amended to delegate such authority to the Director of the Finance Department. SECTION 6. That Section 2-43 of Division 2 of Article III of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to change the date of January 1,1988 in subsection (a) thereof to January 1, 1989 and January 1, 1987 in subsection (b) thereof to January 1,1988. SECTION 7. That Section 2-44(b) of Division 2 of Article III of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to change the date of January 1, 1988 therein to January 1, 1989. SECTION 8. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
