<br />AR~ICLE 4: <br /> <br />REIIIBURSARJ.£ EXPEBSES <br /> <br />4.1 <br /> <br />If reimbursable expenses are to be paid as a part of this <br /> <br />Agreement as set forth in Article 13, such expenses are in <br /> <br />addition to <br /> <br />the Compensation for Basic and Additional Services and include certain <br /> <br />actual expenditures made by the Engineer and the Engineer's employees <br /> <br />and consultants in the interest of the Project for the expenses listed <br /> <br />in the following Subparagraph: <br /> <br />4.1.1 <br /> <br />Reproduction, Advertising, <br /> <br />Postage, Long Distance Telephone <br /> <br />Calls, <br /> <br />Travel and subsistence outside of the City of San Marcos as <br /> <br />approved by Owner. <br /> <br />AR~ICLE 5 <br /> <br />PAYIIEII'rS TO filE ERGIIŒER <br /> <br />5.1 <br /> <br />PAYIIEI1"I'S 011 ACCOOJft' OF BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />5.1.1 <br /> <br />Payments for Basic Services shall be made to Engineer monthly <br /> <br />following receipt by Owner of Engineer I s invoice therefor, <br /> <br />less any <br /> <br />disputed amounts, pending resolution thereof. <br /> <br />However, the total of <br /> <br />such payments for each phase shall not exceed the amounts set forth in <br /> <br />Article 13 for each of the phases of Basic Services. <br /> <br />5.2 <br /> <br />PAYHEIft'S 011 ACCOUIR OF ADDI~IORAL SERVICES <br /> <br />5.2.1 <br /> <br />Payments on account of the Engineer's Additional Services as <br /> <br />defined in Paragraph 1.7 and for Reimbursable Expenses <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />defined <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />Article 4 shall be made monthly upon presentation of the Engineer's <br /> <br />statement of services rendered or expenses incurred, less any disputed <br /> <br />amounts, pending resolution thereof. <br /> <br />5.3 <br /> <br />PR~ ( S ) SUSPEBSIOII OR TElUIIRA~IOR <br /> <br />5.3.1 <br /> <br />I f the Pro j ect ( s ) is suspended or abandoned in whole or in <br /> <br />part for more than six (6) months, the Engineer shall be compensated <br /> <br />for all services performed prior to receipt of written notice from the <br /> <br />Owner of such suspension or abandonment. <br /> <br />If <br /> <br />the Project{s) is then <br /> <br />resumed <br /> <br />after <br /> <br />being <br /> <br />suspended <br /> <br />for more <br /> <br />than <br /> <br />six <br /> <br />(6 ) <br /> <br />months, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Engineer's compensation shall be subject to renegotiation. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 6 <br /> <br />ERGIIIEER .
