<br />85 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting August 27, 1984 Page 8 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced a discussion with Jeff Powers of Quinn-L <br />Management Corporation on a proposed restaurant to be named Texas <br />Fire Cafe located at The Center. During the moratorium he can <br />only get 5 sewage LUEs and needs 7 for a restaurant. After discus- <br />sion, the Council directed the Ordinance be amended and presented <br />to them, then to reschedule this item for consideration. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced a discussion by Stephen Jenkins of a pro- <br />posed rate structure for Phase II of the Water Conservation Plan, <br />a copy of this structure being attached to these minutes. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced a discussion on the G. I. Forum Edifice <br />Corporation tax exempt status and request for refund of paid property <br />taxes. Mr. Hankins stated the School District and City were granted <br />a hearing before the CAD on August 14, and the decision was they re- <br />voked the exemption in part, where the non-profit entity facilities <br />used were concerned. The City's refund will be $44.39. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br />to Article 6252-17, §2(e), §2(f) and §2(g), V.A.C.S., to discuss <br />personnel, contemplated litigation, matters where the duty of the <br />City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of Professional Respon- <br />sibility of the State Bar of Texas requires confidentiality, and nego- <br />tiation of contract.
