1 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, SEPTEMBER 4, 1984 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Services Dinah Elwell Police Chief Myron Galchutt Fire Chief Oscar Carpenter Also Present: Jerri Martin, Mark Hendricks, Lupe Picassio, Terry Colley, Jake Krauskopf, Augustin Lucio, Jane Wilson, Mike l\1ason, Jack Lindstrom, Stephanie Langenkamp, Shirley Wickersham and others. l\1ayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held August 27, 1984. Mr. Coddington moved for approval and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE 1983-45, ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 12, 1983, WHICH SET FORTH AN ITEMIZED ESTIM- ATE OF THE EXPENSE OF CONDUCTING EACH ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1983, AND ENDING ON SEPTEl\1BER 30, 1984, AND APPROPRIATED MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE; TO RE- VISE SAID ESTIMATES AND TO REAPPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS; ADOPTING SAID REVISIONS AND ESTIMATES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE l\1ASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY TO ADD SUBSECTION D, Il\1PLEMENTING THE LAND USE ELE- MENT OF THE MASTER PLAN, TO SECTION IV, LAND USE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on second reading and Mr. Brown seconded the Botion, which passed unanimously. * Mr. Guerra was present at 8:25 p.m. ** Mr. l\1oore was not present at this meeting.
