Brown <br /> Bill Coddington <br /> Gerald G. Farr <br /> Fred Guerra <br /> Betty Jane Kissler <br /> Jaime Moore <br /> City Manager A. C. Gonzalez <br /> City Secretary Janis K. Womack <br /> Director of Public Works George Boeker <br /> Director of Planning Frank Robbins <br /> Acting Director of Finance Wayne Moore <br />Also Present: Gregg Echols, Mark Hendricks, Lee Swift, Bill Plummer, <br />Jack Cates, Joe Froh, Lucky Tomblin, Ross King, Sandy Schroeder, Terry <br />Colley, Mary Compton, Richard Hernandez, John Grayson, Jack Lindstrom, <br />Anita Reyes, Joe Cox, Lupe Picassio, Vince VandeWalle, Dan Nelson, <br />Shirley Wickersham, Augustin Lucio, Jeffrey Kester, Charles Chapman, <br />Betty Stansbury and others. <br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting held October 8, 1984. Mr. Guerra moved for <br />approval and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. Mr. Coddington asked <br />the minutes be corrected on Page 5 in the fifth paragraph (last sen- <br />tence) to read "Council directed Staff to place the matter on a future <br />agenda if the difficulties were not worked out." The minutes were <br />then approved unanimously by the Council. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Special Meeting held October IS, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for ap- <br />proval and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the follow- <br />ing vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. <br /> NAY: None. <br />ABSTAIN: Brown, Moore. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the Zoning Commission. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Lala Garcia and <br />Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the Library Board. Ms. Kissler moved to appoint Dawn Logan and Mr. <br />Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appoint- <br />ment to the Historic Preservation Commission to fill the vacancy of <br />Gwen Smith as a person in the community interested in the history of <br />San Marcos. A name the Mayor had submitted earlier was withdrawn, so <br />the Council directed this matter be placed on a future agenda. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment <br />to the Commission for Women to complete the vacancy of Betty Wolverton. <br />No names were submitted, and the Mayor and Council by consensus reached <br />the decision to allow the number of 15 members on this Commission to <br />reduce in number by attrition.
