<br />64 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-18R <br /> <br />Â RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR PART OF <br />BLOCK 39, VICTORY GARDENS SECTION, CONSISTING OF 0.133 <br />ACRES OF LAND, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT THE <br />INTERSECTION OF STILLWELL STREET AND KNOX STREET <br />FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COM~ÆERCIAL; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 18, 1986, the Joint Planning <br />and Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public <br />hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (~1ap) <br />of the Master Plan from Low Density Residential to Commercial <br />for part of Block 39, Victory Gardens Section, consisting of 0.133 <br />acres of land, located at the intersection of Stillwell Street and <br />Knox Street, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />t'VHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said da te, said <br />Commissions did, on November 18, 1986, consider said request <br />and voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />of February, 1987, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Master <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That part of Block 39, Victory Gardens Second <br />Section, consisting of 0.133 acres of land more particularly described <br />in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />purposes, located at the intersection of Stillwell Street and Knox <br />Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on <br />the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San <br />Marcos as Low Density Residential shall be shown on said map as <br />Commercial as more particularly described in Exhibit "B" which <br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. <br /> <br />PART 2.
