<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, CONSISTING
<br />OF TWO TRACTS CONSISTING OF TRACT 1: 2.55 ACRES OF LAND
<br />OUT OF THE J. M. VERN1ENDI LEAGUE NO.1, CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING ALL OF THAT 0.15 ACRE
<br />TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO THE CORRIE CORPORATION BY
<br />ANDREW GARY, ET AI., BY DEED DATED JUNE 12, 1985 AND

<br />OF THAT TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT IIAIf IN THE
<br />SAID CAMPSALL DEED FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL TO COMMERCIAL
<br />SAID TRACTS LOCATED AT THE SOUTH CORNER OF THE
<br />INTERSECTION OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE AND HUNTER ROAD AND
<br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />WHEREAS, on December 16, 1986 and January 6, 1987, the
<br />Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions of the City of San
<br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future
<br />Land Use Plan (~1ap) 0 f the Mas ter Plan from Ligh t
<br />Industrial to Commercial for two tracts consisting of Tract 1: 2.55
<br />acres of land out of the J.M. Veramendi League No.1 from IIPDII
<br />( Pre-Deve lopmen t Distr lct) to If CIf ( Commerc ial) a f the Ci ty 0 f San
<br />Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and Tract 2: 0.23 acres from "1.1" (~ght
<br />Industrial District) to IIC" (Commercial District) of the City of
<br />San Marcos, Hays County, Texas;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearings on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on January 6, 1987, consider said request
<br />and voted to approve the same and have recommended that such
<br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the
<br />of March, 1987, regarding such request; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,

<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

<br />MARCOS,
<br />
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />PART 1. That two tracts consisting of Tract 1: 2.55 acres of
<br />land out of the J.M. Veramendi League No.1 from IIpD" (Pre-Development
<br />District) to IfCIf (Commercial) of the City of San lvlarcos, Hays
<br />County, Texas; and Tract 2: 0.23 acres from 111.1" (Light Industrial
<br />District) to IfCIf (Commercial District) of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Hays County, Texas; more particularly described in Exhibit If All which
<br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, located at
<br />the south corner of of the intersection of Wonder World Drive and
<br />Hunter Road (F.M. 2439), San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in
<br />an area shmm on the Fu ture Land Use Plan (Map) 0 f the llas ter Plan 0 f
<br />the City of San Marcos as Industrial shall be shown on said map as
<br />Commercial as more particularly described in Exhibit IIB" which is
<br />attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.

<br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full
<br />from and after its passage.
