<br />Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider approval of a
<br />Zoning Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as
<br />follows:

<br />Mayor Craddock asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposi-
<br />tion to the zoning change. No one did, so Mayor Craddock closed the
<br />public hearing. Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on
<br />first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unani-
<br />mously.

<br />Mayor Craddock asked if anyone wished to speak in favor of the zoning
<br />change. Mike Marek, Vice President of the NPC Truss Plant in San Mar-
<br />cos, advised the Council he had been in communication with the Planning
<br />Director and was willing to establish deed restrictions on the property
<br />as to what use can be allowed on the property. No one else wished to
<br />speak for or against the zoning change, so Mayor Craddock closed the
<br />public hearing. Mr. Robbins stated deed restrictions could be pre-
<br />sented to the Council at second reading of the Ordinance, or possibl~
<br />deed restrictions could be placed in the Ordinance. There was also
<br />a brief discussion of a contract between NPC and the City. Mr. Farr
<br />moved the Ordinance be tabled until the problems could be worked out
<br />and Mayor Craddock seconded the motion. On roll call the following
<br />vote was recorded:

<br />AYE: Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Kissler, Moore.
