WCG is very pleased to <br />undertake this representation. As a matter of firm policy, it is required that we provide you with <br />this engagement letter in order to set out the specific terms applicable to the representation. <br />Specifically, the following terms and provisions apply to this engagement: <br /> <br />1. Through its Washington, D.C. office, WCG will provide federal government <br />relations representation and counsel limited to a scope of work concerning: a) the City's interest <br />in federal appropriations for airport projects, including T-hangar construction, a new terminal <br />building, a fixed-base operator facility and a multi-purpose fire station and training facility; and, <br />b) the City's interest in federal funding for the San Marcos River Project. Bill Laforge will be <br />your primary contact in Washington, D.C. <br /> <br />2 Through its Austin, Texas office, WCG will provide state government relation <br />representation and counsel limited to a scope of work concerning: a) the City's interests before <br />the Texas Department of Transportation on projects related to the intersection of McCarty Lane, <br />IH-35 and CRIIO; and, b) the City's interests before the Aviation Division ofthe Texas <br />Department of Transportation with respect to local funding and development of economic <br />opportunities for the City's airport. Pete Winstead and Robert Stluka will be your primary <br />contacts in Austin. <br /> <br />3 The period of this engagement will be for six months, commencing October 1, <br />2005 and extending through March 31, 2006, and the engagement may be extended by the <br />parties as deemed necessary and practicable under the terms of this agreement and any others <br />that might follow.. WCG will charge monthly fees, up to a maximum of$15,000 per month, <br />based on hourly billings for work performed on the tasks and projects assigned and enumerated <br />above in 1) and 2). <br />
