<br />135. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 1 49 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR <br />THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY <br />APPRAISAL DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos, Texas, is a taxing unit entitled to nominate candidates for <br />positions on the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal District. <br /> <br />2. The City Council wishes to nominate a candidate for a position on the board of <br />directors for the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1,2006. <br /> <br />3. Daniel Guerrero fulfill(s) the eligibility requirements of <br />Section 6.03(a) of the Texas Property Tax Code for nomination to a director position. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. Daniel Guerrero is nominated as a candidate for a position on <br />the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, <br />2006. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Mayor is directed to submit, prior to October 15, 2005, the name of <br />Daniel Guerrero to the Chief Appraiser for the Hays County Appraisal District, as <br />the nominee of the City of San Marcos, Texas for a position on the board of directors of the Hays <br />County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, 2006. <br /> <br />PART 3.
