I understand all of the <br />following policies of the City of San Marcos regarding out-of-city water and wastewater utility extensions: <br />1. All costs for utility extensions and connections are to be borne by the owner. <br />2. Wastewater service extensions are not allowed unless City water service is used (subject to variance approved by the 'City <br />Council). <br />3. The owner must consent to annexation of the subject property by the City. <br />4. The owner must present written requests for annexation of an area at least 15' in width from each property owner along the <br />intended route of the line extension if the subject property is not contiguous to the existing city limits. <br />5. Extensions are subject to, all City construction standards and oversizing policies. <br />6. Extensions must be made in public utility easements or public rights-of-way. If an easement or right-of-way is not in place, the <br />applicant must acquire an easement on behalf of the city. The form of the easement is subject to apprDval by the city. <br /> <br />In consideration of the City's apprQval of this application, I hereby petition the City for annexation of the subject property, and l.certify <br />that I am either the owner of the subject property, or the duly authorized agent of the ow r f the subject property.
