Brown <br />* Bill Coddington <br />Gerald G. Farr <br />** Fred Guerra <br />Betty Jane Kissler <br />William C.. Nicola <br /> <br />City Manager A. C. Gonzalez <br />City Secretary Janis K. Womack <br />City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins <br />Assistant City Manager Robert T. Herrera <br />Director of Planning Frank Robbins <br /> <br />Also Present: Mark Hendricks, Linda King, Jay Moore and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock called the Emergency Meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br />on emergency, which Ordinance was read in its entirety because it was <br />not posted 72 hours prior to the meeting, the caption which reads as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE <br />ADOPTED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JANUARY <br />27, 1986, ORDERING A SPECIAL AND JOINT GENERAL ELEC- <br />TION BY REDUCING THE DESCRIPTIONS OF CERTAIN PROPOSI- <br />TIONS, SUBSTITUTING THESE RE-WRITTEN PROPOSITIONS FOR <br />THE ORIGINALS, ORDERING THAT THE JANUARY 27, 1986 <br />ORDINANCE BE CORRECTED TO REFLECT SAID CHANGES; AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion. Mr. Farr moved to amend the Ordinance <br />to add wording to Proposition No.1 to reflect that the change is <br />to bring our Charter into conformance with State Law (re: public <br />hearings - annexation), and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously.
