<br />(i) correct any ambIgUIty or mistake or properly or more completely document the transactIOns contemplated <br />and approved by thIS Ord1Oance and as described 10 the Official Statement, (ii) obta1O a rating from any of the <br />natIonal bond rating agencIes, or (m) obta1O the approval of the CertIficates by the Attorney General of Texas <br />In the event that any officer of the CIty whose signature shall appear on any certIficate shall cease to be such <br />officer before the dehvery of such certificate, such signature nevertheless shall be vahd and sufficient tor all <br />purposes the same as If such officer had remamed m office until such dehvery <br /> <br />SectIOn 13 03 SeverabIhtv <br /> <br />If any sectIOn, artIcle, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word m thIS Ordmance, or apphcatIOn <br />thereof to any person or cIrcumstance IS held to be mvahd or unenforceable, the remamder of thIS Ordinance <br />and the apphcatIOn of such sectIOn, artIcle, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word to other persons and <br />CIrcumstances nevertheless shall be vahd and enforceable; and It IS hereby declared that thIS Ordmance would <br />have been enacted WIthout such mvahd or unenforceable proVIsIOn. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XIV <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF ATTORNEY GENERAL FEE <br /> <br />SectIOn 1401 Payment of Attornev General Fee <br /> <br />The CIty hereby authonzes the dIsbursement of a fee equal to the lesser of (i) one-tenth of one percent <br />of the prinCIpal amount of the CertIficate or (ii) $9,500, for each senes proVIded that such fee shall not be less <br />than $750, to the Attorney General of Texas Pubhc Fmance DlVlsIOn for payment of the exammation fee <br />charged by the State of Texas for the Attorney General's reVIew and approval ofpubhc secuntIes and credit <br />agreements, as reqUIred by SectIOn 1202 004 ofthe Texas Government Code The appropnate member of the <br />CIty'S staff IS hereby mstructed to take the necessary measures to make thIS payment.
