<br />City Land Development Code. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />8. All requirements of Chapter 1, Development Procedures, of the City Land Development <br />Code pertaining to Zoning Map amendments and amendments to the Future Land Use Map have <br />been met, to the extent these requirements were not superseded by the Notice Ordinance. <br /> <br />9. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following ordinance <br />is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The above Recitals are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into <br />the body of this ordinance as if copied in their entirety. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 4.1.2.2 of the <br />City Land Development Code, is amended by rezoning and converting all tracts of property presently <br />shown on that map as "R-l" Single Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to "SF-6" Single-Family <br />District. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held <br />to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this I <br />ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a misdemeanor <br />and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos City Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 5.
