On April 25, 2006, the City Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing <br />regarding requests to change the official zoning map of the City for the following tracts of <br />property located on the west side of the 2700 block of IH-35 North, and after the public hearing, <br />the Commission voted to recommend that the following zoning district designations be approved <br />by the City Council of the City: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Supporting Acreage Current Zoning Proposed Zoning Exhibit <br />Case <br />ZC-06-06a 41.189 "cc" Community Commereial and "FD" "MU" Mixed Use H <br /> Future Development <br />ZC-06-06b 32.254 "MF-18" Multiple-Family Residential (18 "cc" Community I <br /> units per aere) and "P" Public and Commercial <br /> Institutional <br />ZC-06-06e 58.549 "MF-18" Multiple-Family Residential (18 "P" Public and J <br /> units per acre), "cc" Community Institutional <br /> Commercial and "FD" Future Development <br />ZC-06-06d 15.065 "MF-18" Multiple-Family Residential (18 "MF -24" Multiple- K <br /> units per acre) and "FD" Future Family Residential <br /> Development (24 units per acre) <br /> <br />3. All requirements of Chapter 1, Development Procedures, of the City Land <br />Development Code pertaining to Future Land Use Map Amendments and Zoning Map <br />amendments have been met. <br /> <br />4. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following I <br />ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1.
