<br />, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Annexation <br />Service Plan <br /> <br />20. <br />First Baptist Church <br />(AN-200S-02) <br /> <br /> <br />Service Plan for the Annexation of 81.15 Acre Area <br /> <br />Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 43, the <br />following service plan is hereby adopted for the annexation of the 81.15 acre area. The <br />property is being annexed at the request of the property owner. <br /> <br />The proposed annexation area is located southwest of the City, and includes two areas. <br />The first area consists of76.06 acres that will be developed into the future site of the First <br />Baptist Church. The second area proposed for aIIDexation consists of 5.09 acres of <br />frontage along Hunter Road (state maintained FM Highway-2439). The ROW of Hunter <br />Road borders the subject tract and is located outside of the city limits. <br /> <br />The proposed project will include the extension of a wastewater line from the intersection <br />of Hunter and McCarty. In addition to the out-of-city utility service request, the applicant <br />is requesting approval of a Capital Improvements Agreement to facilitate the construction <br />of a 16" water line from Great Oaks Drive to Hunter Road. The CIP Agreement will <br />provide for the applicant to design the water line extension and to receive reimbursement <br />once the project funds are put in place. The proposed agreement will allow the project to <br />begin in the fall of 2005. <br /> <br />1. Police Protection <br />Police services, including patrolling, response to calls and other routine services, will <br />begin on the effective date of the aIIDexation using existing persoIIDel and equipment. <br /> <br />2. Fire Protection <br />Fire protection services, including emergency response calls, will begin on the effective <br />date of the aIIDexation using existing persoIIDel and equipment and within the limitations <br />of the available water supply. <br /> <br />3. Emereencv Medical Services <br />Emergency medical services, including emergency response calls, will continue at the <br />same level of service after the annexation. The City of San Marcos contracts for <br />emergency medical services through the San Marcos - Hays County EMS, which already <br />provides service to the area being aIIDexed. <br /> <br />October 10,2005 <br /> <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
