<br />I <br /> <br />(C) The 5-day running average discharge rate of Comal Springs is below <br />220 cfs as measured at the Comal gauging station. <br /> <br />(2) Stage 1 shall terminate at 8 00 a.m. on the 30th day after issuance of a notice <br />of expiration, unless otherwise determined by the director. A notice of expiration shall be <br />issued when the criteria in subsection (1) are no longer satisfied. <br /> <br />(b) Stage 2. <br /> <br />(1) Stage 2 shall be implemented when anyone of the following conditions occur: <br /> <br />(A) At 8:00 a.m. the level of the aquifer is less than 640 feet above mean <br />sea level as measured at the index well; or <br /> <br />(B) The 5-day running average discharge rate of San Marcos Springs is <br />below 96 cfs as measured at the San Marcos gauging station; or <br /> <br />(C) The 5-day running average discharge rate of Comal Springs is below <br />154 cfs as measured at the Comal gauging station. <br /> <br />(2) Stage 2 shall terminate at 8:00 a.m. on the 30th day after issuance of a notice <br />of expiration, unless otherwise determined by the director. A notice of expiration shall be <br />issued when the criteria in subsection (1) are no longer satisfied, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(c) Stage 3. <br /> <br />(1) Stage 3 shall be implemented when anyone of the following conditions <br />occur: <br /> <br />(A) At 8:00 a.m. the level of the aquifer is less than 630 feet above mean <br />sea level as measured at the index well, or <br /> <br />(B) The 5-day running average discharge rate of San Marcos Springs is <br />below 80 cfs as measured at the San Marcos gauging station; or <br /> <br />(C) The 5-day running average discharge rate of Comal Springs is below <br />86 cfs as measured at the Comal gauging station <br /> <br />(2) Stage 3 shall terminate at 8:00 a.m. on the 30th day after issuance of a notice <br />of expiration, unless otherwise determined by the director, A notice of expiration shall be <br />issued when the criteria in subsection (1) are no longer satisfied. <br /> <br />(d) Stage 4. <br /> <br />(1) Stage 4 shall be implemented when anyone of the following conditions <br />occur: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(A) At 8:00 a.m. on the 30th day after issuance of notice of <br />commencement of stage III, if the level of the aquifer remains at less than <br />630 feet above mean sea level as measured at the index well; or <br /> <br />5 <br />
