ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The Future Land Use Plan of the San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan is revised to change the future land use designation for the following real property from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential: Street address: 225 Ramsay Street Size: 1.614 acres, more or less. Legal description: T. J. Chambers Survey, Abstract Number 2, more particularly described by metes and bounds attached as Exhibit A. Deed or plat reference: Volume 1207, Page 361, Official Public Records of Hays County. SECTION 2. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 4.1.2.2 of the City Land Development Code, is amended to rezone the tract of real property described in Section 1 above from "R-l" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to "MF-18" Multiple-Family Residential District. SECTION 3. Any person violating any proVIsIOn of this ordinance commits a misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos City Code upon conviction. SECTION 4. After its original passage, this ordinance will be subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting. If this ordinance is not reconsidered, or if it is reconsidered and approved, notice of its adoption will be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. This ordinance will take effect upon publication of this notice.
