<br />ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Future Land Use Plan of the San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan is <br />revised to change the future land use designation for the following real property from Low <br />Density Residential to High Density Residential: <br /> <br />Street address: 225 Ramsay Street <br /> <br />Size: 1.614 acres, more or less. <br /> <br />Legal description: T. J. Chambers Survey, Abstract Number 2, more particularly <br />described by metes and bounds attached as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 1207, Page 361, Official Public Records of Hays <br />County. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 4.1.2.2 of the <br />City Land Development Code, is amended to rezone the tract of real property described in <br />Section 1 above from "R-l" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to "MF-18" <br />Multiple-Family Residential District. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Any person violating any proVIsIOn of this ordinance commits a <br />misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos City <br />Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. After its original passage, this ordinance will be subject to reconsideration <br />at the next regular City Council meeting. If this ordinance is not reconsidered, or if it is <br />reconsidered and approved, notice of its adoption will be published in a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the City.
