<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />SUPPLEMENTAL ELECTRIC SERVICE <br />Rate Schedule - COG <br /> <br />~, <br /> <br />Effective February 1, 2005 <br /> <br />MONTHLY RATE <br />The following rates are applicable to service under this rate schedule <br /> <br />Availability Charge $270,000 00 per year billed monthly at $22 500 00 <br /> <br />LCRA Power Supply Charges Actual monthly chares for generation, transmission, transformation, ERCOT <br />Administration Fees and other services provided by LCRA. <br /> <br />Energy Factor' Charge of $ 00715/KWh per KWh <br /> <br />OTHER CHARGES <br /> <br />The amount computed at the Monthly Rate shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any <br />governmental authority when such are assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volume of electricity <br />purchased or sold <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />-'le monthly minimum charge shall be the Availability Charge and all applicable Other Charges. <br /> <br />::TERMINATION OF BILLING UNITS <br /> <br />The Customer billing units for the Billing Month will be determined from meter readings taken, to the extent possible and <br />practical, on the same date the City's major bulk power supplier reads the meters for establishing the City's monthly <br />wholesale power bills <br /> <br />Power Factor Adjustment: A power factor penalty may be assessed if the necessary equipment for determining power <br />factor is installed and if the power factor during the non-coincident peak KW demand is less than 0 90 <br />The power factor penalty shall be calculated by increasing the measured billing demand such that the corrected billing <br />demand and measured KVAR yield a calculated power factor of 0 90 If the measured power factor is 0 90 or greater, the <br />billing KW demand shall be the KW demand in accordance with the appropriate schedule <br /> <br />The additional metering equipment necessary to measure or compute KVAR or power factor may be installed at any <br />demand metered customer without notice at the discretion of the City <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />The due dates, penalty dates, and disconnection dates for bills shall be linked to the Customers' billing cycles in <br />accordance with the following table of dates for each cycle <br /> <br />Cycle # Billing Date Due Date and Penalty Date Disconnection Date <br />1 16m 3ra of the following month 14Ln of the following month <br />2 24'" 11'" of the following month 21 S of the following month <br />3 151 18m of the same month 2Sm of the same month <br />4 S'" 25m of the same month 4m of the following month <br /> <br />Page 16 <br />
