<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL PUMPING SERVICE <br />Rate Schedule - MP <br /> <br />Effective February 1, 2005 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for municipal pumping service on the basis of this Rate <br />Schedule - MP The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San Marcos Electric Utility Rules and Regulations are <br />incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City <br />System") <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to the City of San Marcos and agencies of the State of Texas and the United States of <br />America for electric power and energy used for the operation of water and wastewater or sewer pumping requirements. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single or three phase, at the City's option of the <br />standard voltages available from the City System Resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule <br /> <br />MONTHLY RATE <br /> <br />Customer Charge (Single or Three Phase) <br /> <br />$25 00 per month <br /> <br />Energy Charge (All Metered kWh) <br /> <br />$00475 per kWh <br /> <br />The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any <br />governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased <br />or sold by the City <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the CUSTOMER CHARGE and all applicable rate adjustments <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />The due dates, penalty dates, and disconnection dates for bills shall be linked to the Customers' billing cycles in <br />accordance with the following table of dates for each cycle <br /> <br />Cycle # Billing Date Due Date and Penalty Date Disconnection Date <br />1 16m 3ra of the following month 14" of the following month <br />2 24m 111n of the following month 21 S of the following month <br />3 1 S 18m of the same month 28" of the same month <br />4 Sm 251n of the same month 4'r of the following month <br /> <br />ny and all amounts not paid before the penalty date shall be assessed a charge in the amount of 10% of the unpaid <br />110U nt. <br /> <br />Page 18 <br />
