<br />, <br /> <br />tII <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />CHAPTER 3: <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING <br /> <br />I ARTICLE 1: PLAN ELEMENTS AUTHORIZED I <br /> <br />Division 1: Creation, Implementation, and Revisions <br /> <br />Section 3.1.1.1 City Master Plan Created <br /> <br />The San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan, prepared by the City Planning Department and <br />dated November 1995, is adopted as the master plan for the physical development of the City. <br />The City Clerk will keep a copy of this master plan on file for public inspection. <br /> <br />Section 3.1.1.2 <br /> <br />Implementation <br /> <br />(a) The Planning Director is authorized and directed to implement the policies of the <br />Master Plan through the activities described in Chapter 5- San Marcos Action Plan of <br />San Marcos Horizons, and in particular, the following: <br /> <br />(1) The preparation of neighborhood/sector plans for all areas within the City. <br /> <br />(2) The application of the Master Plan's Future Land Use Plan to guide <br />subdivision platting and other development decision making in the City's <br />extraterritorial jurisdiction. <br /> <br />(3) The future revision of the Future Land Use Map when annexations to the City <br />alter the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction. <br /> <br />(4) Implementation of the Master Plan through zoning decisions. <br /> <br />Section 3.1.1.3 <br /> <br />Sector Plans <br /> <br />(a) The following sector plans are adopted as an amendment to the San Marcos Horizons <br />City Master Plan: Sector plans are amendments to the Master Plan. <br /> <br />(1) The Sector One Plan. <br /> <br />(2) The Sector Two Plan. <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas <br /> <br />3-1 <br /> <br />Land Development Code - Final <br />
