VERAMENDI SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO.1 7, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, I TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT 9.438 ACRE TRACT DESCRIBED IN A DEED ¡ , FROM JOE BOB MILLICAM ET UX TO KBLB PARTNERS DATED OCTOBER 31, 1996 AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 1266, PAGE 132 OF THE HAYS COUNTY OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING at a 1/211 iron rod found for the east corner of the KBLB tract and the south corner of that 121.43 acre tract described in a deed from Thomas T. Smith, Trustee to Heinz Schwaderlapp et al dated April 8, 1983 and recorded in Volume 391, Page 692 òf the Hays County Deed Records, and being in the northwest line of Interstate Highway No. 35; THENCE leaving the PLACE OF BEGINNING with the common southeast line of the KBLB tract and northwest line of Interstate Highway No. 35, as shown on that plat numbered 24084-96-c revised December 17, 1996 as prepared for KBLB by Byrn & Associates, Inc. of San Marcos, Texas S 44'" 08' 00" W (this being the Bearing Basis for this tract) 440.69 feet to a TXDOT brass and concrete monument found for I an east corner of that 0.577 acre tract described in a deed from Joe Bob Millicam to the State of Texas dated June 28, 1994 and recorded in Volume 1090, Page 267' of the Hays County Official , Public Records; . THENCE entering the KBLB tract with the north and northeast lines of the State of Texas 0.577 acre tract, the following two courses: 1. S 89° 32' 4911 W 70.53 feet to a 1/2" iron rod found, and 2. N 45° II' 5711 W 49.77 feet to a point for the west corner of this tract, being in the northwest line of that tract of land annexed by the City of San Marcos by Ordinance No. 1985-48; THENCE crossing the remaining portion of the KBLB tract with the northwest line of the tract annexed by the City of San Marcos, N 44' 08' 00" E 490.76 feet to a point for the north corner of the herein described tract, being in the common northeast line of KBLB tract and southwest line of the Schwaderlapp tract; THENCE with said common line, S 45° 13' 08" E 100.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
