<br />WHEREAS, on June 18,1985, the Joint Planning and ZOning
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a
<br />request to æœnd the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan
<br />from Low Œmsi ty Residential Use to Corrm:erc ial Use for 4.51 acres
<br />of land out of the L. Glassgow Survey, in said City¡ and,
<br />v.JHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on June 18,1985, consider said request and voted
<br />to approve the same and have recormœnded that such request be approved
<br />by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 13 day
<br />of January, 1985, regarding such request; and,
<br />WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br />amendments have been met¡ and,
<br />h1HEREAS, said City COuncil hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />PART 1. 'That the following described tract of real property
<br />located without the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos but
<br />within said City's two (2) mile extraterritorial jurisdiction and
<br />loca ted on Ranch Road 12, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area
<br />shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City
<br />of San Marcos as Low [ens i ty Residential shall be shown on said map
<br />as Commercial:
