<br /> ~VHEREAS, on November 19, 1985, the Joint Planning and
<br /> Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the
<br /> Master Plan from low CBnsity Residential Use to Comrœrcial Use for
<br /> 5.15 acres of land out of the Lydia Glasgow Survey in said City;
<br /> and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br /> Commissions did, on November 19,1985, consider said request and
<br /> voted to approve the same and have recommended that such request be
<br /> approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br /> lVHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 27 day
<br /> of January 1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> WHERFAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> lVHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following described tracts of real property
<br /> located without the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos but
<br /> within said City's two (2) mile extraterritorial iurisdiction and
<br /> on the south side of Ranch Road 12, Hays County, Texas, which are in
<br /> an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan
<br /> of the City of San Marcos as low Density Residential shall be shown
<br /> on said map as Comrærcial:
