<br /> City of Shreveport, Louisiana Utility Billing <br /> Tom Dark, Assistant Chief Administrator Customer Information Needs, <br /> (318) 226-6014 and Software Selection Study <br /> 8 Evaluation of Automated Systems <br /> LWFW was engaged by the City of Shreveport's Department of Water and Sewerage <br /> to assist them in evaluating their current Utility Billing and Customer Information <br /> System. <br /> 8 Assessment of Needs <br /> During the study the customer information needs of the department were <br /> identified and the City's IBM 4300 Computer System reviewed. <br /> 8 Preliminary System Design <br /> Work sessions were held with the City's software design team, potential strategies <br /> were presented, and a recommendation to replace the current system was made. <br /> 8 Soliciting and Evaluating Bid Proposals <br /> As a result of that study, LWFW was engaged to assist with the selection of a new <br /> Utility Billing and Customer Information Software package. <br /> 8 Implementation of System <br /> The system was selected and has been successfully installed. <br /> City of La Porte, Texas <br /> Jack Owen, City Manager Data Processing <br /> (713) 471-5020 Planning and Selection Study <br /> 8 Assessmen t of Needs <br /> Recently, LWFW was engaged by the City of La Porte, Texas to identify the City's <br /> management information needs, develop a Request for Proposal, and recommend a <br /> data processing system capable of achieving both current and future needs. <br /> 8 Office Automation <br /> Included within the study was selection of an integrated word processing/office <br /> automation system. <br /> 16 <br />
