<br /> -4- <br />Sec. 15 1/2-12. Issuance of limousine chauffeur's <br /> permit, duration. <br /> ( 1) Upon submission of the application for <br />limousine chauffeur's permit, a permit shall be issued <br />which shall bear the name, address, signature and <br />photograph of the applicant. <br /> ( 2) The permit shall be in effect for the <br />remainder of the calendar year. <br />Sec. 15 1/2-13. Failure to comply with city, state and <br /> federal laws. <br /> Every chauffeur receiving a permit under the terms <br />of this chapter shall comply with all city, state and <br />federal laws. Failure to do so will justify the <br />suspension or revocation of this permit. The director <br />of public safety shall initiate the revocation or <br />suspension. No permit shall be suspended or revoked <br />unless notice and an opportunity to be heard have been <br />provided the holder of the permit. All such hearings <br />shall be held before a Municipal Court Judge sitting as <br />a hearings examiner. <br />Sec. 15 1/2-14. Vehicles: equipment and maintenance. <br /> Any vehicle operated pursuant to the terms of this <br />chapter shall be inspected as required by state law. <br />Sec. 15 1/2-15. Condition of vehicles. <br /> Every vehicle operating under this chapter shall be <br />kept clean and in sanitary condition. <br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten <br />(10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in <br />a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the <br />Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading February 24, 1986. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading March 10, 1986. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED March 24, 1986. <br /> £:.
