<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE ~ICH

<br />STRUC'IURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br />CHAL\!GING THE ZONING OF LOT 74 OF 'lliIRD DIVISION,
<br />PARK ADDITION, AN ADDITION IN 'IRE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AS

<br />10 II [\1F-4 II (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT): AND DECLARING AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />WHEREAS, on March 4, 1986, the Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the
<br />zoning from "R-l" (Single Family IMelling District) to "MF-4"
<br />(Multi-Family District) of Lot 74 of Third Division, Park Addition, a
<br />subdivision in said City: and,
<br />
<br />~"lliEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commission did, on March 4, 1986, consider said request and the
<br />Zoning Commission voted to deny the same and has recommended that
<br />such request be denied by the City Council of said City:
<br />and,
<br />
<br />\VHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 12 day
<br />of May, 1986, regarding such request: and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have been met: and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety: now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY 'lliE CITY COUNCIL OF 'IRE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located in San l\1arcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned
<br />"R-l"-( Single Family Dwelling District) henceforth shall be rezoned
<br />IMF-4" (Multi-Family District):
<br />
<br />LOT 74 OF 'lliIRD DIVISION, PARK ADDITION, AN ADDITION IN 'lliE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS AS SHewN ON 'IRE MAP OR PLAT 'IREREDF
<br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 56, PAGE 47, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS.
<br />
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days
<br />from and after its passage and after it has been subject to
<br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular Iœeting following
<br />its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider
<br />it. If reconsidered on May 19, 1986, it shall be in effect ten
<br />days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not
<br />go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and
<br />approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in
<br />the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.

<br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 12 day of May, 1986 ,
<br />subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council Iœeting
<br />scheduled for May 19, 1986. .
